Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Tikvue ("we", "us") collects when you use tikvue.app, how it's used, and the choices you have. Tikvue has no user accounts, and we don't ask for your name, email address or TikTok login to use any tool.
Information we process
Searches you make
When you enter a TikTok username or link, it's sent to our server so we can fetch the matching public content from TikTok. We don't link searches to you, and we don't build profiles of what individual visitors look up. To keep the service fast, responses may be cached briefly (minutes to hours).
Technical and log data
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps in order to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and diagnose errors. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
Cookies and advertising
Tikvue is free because it shows ads. We use Google AdSense, and may use other advertising partners, to display advertisements.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used, through a certified consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which pages and tools are popular and whether a download succeeded. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects pseudonymous data like pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. We configure Google Analytics not to collect what you type into the search box (usernames or links). In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only used after you consent. You can also block them with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Apart from analytics and advertising, your browser may store small preferences locally to make the site work.
Content from TikTok
Videos, images and profile information shown on Tikvue are public content loaded from TikTok. Tikvue does not permanently store this content. Downloads are streamed directly to your device.
Children
Tikvue is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, delete or object to processing of personal data. Since we don't keep accounts or identify visitors, we usually hold no personal data tied to you, but you can contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
