TikTok in your browser, minus the hassle

No app install

Nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.

No account or login walls

No sign-up prompts interrupting the video.

Works on any device

Phones, tablets, laptops, work computers and school Chromebooks.

Private

You aren't logged in, so your viewing isn't added to any TikTok account.

Can you watch TikTok without the app?

Yes. You can watch any public TikTok video or profile in a web browser, with no app and no account, by pasting its link or username into Tikvue.

Not everyone wants TikTok on their phone. Maybe you deleted the app to spend less time scrolling, your phone is out of storage, or someone just sent you a link and you don't want to sign up to see one video. Watching TikTok without the app lets you open exactly what you came for, then leave.

Tikvue is also handy for keeping a low profile: use the anonymous TikTok viewer to browse a profile and the TikTok story viewer to watch stories without appearing in the viewer list. Want to find a video you watched before? See how to see your TikTok watch history.

Frequently asked questions

Can you watch TikTok without the app?

Yes. Paste any TikTok link above and the video plays right in your browser. You can also enter a username to browse that account's videos.

Can you watch TikTok without an account?

Yes. Tikvue never asks you to sign in. TikTok's own website lets you watch a few videos logged out, but keeps prompting you to log in or open the app; Tikvue doesn't.

How do I open a TikTok link someone sent me without the app?

Copy the link from the message (vm.tiktok.com short links work too), paste it into the box above and press Enter.

Can I watch TikTok on a computer?

Yes. Tikvue works in any desktop browser, as well as on phones and tablets.

Will the creator see that I watched their video?

In the app it can: with post view history turned on, creators can see some logged-in viewers of their recent videos, and profile visits can appear in profile view history. With Tikvue you're never logged in, so the view isn't tied to your account.
